Celebrate Nature and Community at the Wildlife Baby Shower
Mark your calendars for February 7, 2026! Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is excited to host its annual Wildlife Baby Shower at The Farmstead in Medford from 1 PM to 3 PM. This family-friendly event is not just a fun outing; it plays a critical role in preparing the organization for the influx of wildlife needing care as spring approaches. Last year alone, Cedar Run treated over 7,700 animals—creating an urgent need for community support and involvement.
A Day of Fun for the Whole Family
The Wildlife Baby Shower promises an exciting afternoon filled with activities for children and adults alike. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments, participate in kids' games, and enter raffles for baskets packed with goodies. Moreover, this year’s event will feature special appearances by non-releasable wildlife ambassadors, offering a unique opportunity for families to learn about local wildlife up close.
Your Donations Matter!
This community event is designed to gather essential supplies that the wildlife refuge desperately needs. Guests are encouraged to bring items from Cedar Run's wishlist, which includes necessities such as paper towels, laundry detergent, and large bath towels. Each guest who brings an item can enter free of charge, while others are invited to make a minimum $5 cash donation at the door. Not only does this provide vital support for local wildlife, but it also helps foster connections among family members and neighbors who share similar values for animal welfare.
